Belgian-style Fries

 Belgian-style Fries: Ingredients: 4 large russet potatoes Vegetable oil for frying Salt Instructions: Peel and slice the potatoes into thick wedges. Soak the fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Dry the fries thoroughly with paper towels or a clean dish towel. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 325°F (160°C). Carefully add the fries to the hot oil, working in batches if necessary. Fry the fries for 3-5 minutes, or until they are lightly golden brown. Remove the fries from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate. Increase the oil temperature to 375°F (190°C). Fry the fries again for another 2-3 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove the fries from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate. Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.

Oven-Baked French Fries

 Oven-Baked French Fries: Oven-Baked French Fries: Ingredients: 4 large russet potatoes 2 tbsp olive oil Salt pepper Herbs (optional) Instructions: Peel and slice the potatoes into thin, even fries. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil, salt, pepper, and herbs (if using). Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the fries for 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.

Remove the fries from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain them on a paper towel-lined plate. Sprinkle with salt and serve immediately.

Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe

  Gajar Ka Halwa Recipe Ingredients: 1 kg carrots, grated 1 cup milk 1 cup heavy cream 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup ghee (clarified butter) 2 tsp cardamom powder 1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, pistachios, cashews) A pinch of saffron (optional) Instructions: In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat ghee over medium heat. Add grated carrots and sauté for about 10-15 minutes, or until the carrots start to soften. Add milk, cream and sugar and stir to combine. Cook for about 15-20 minutes more, or until the milk has been absorbed and the halwa has thickened. Stir in cardamom powder and saffron (if using), and cook for another 2-3 minutes. Add chopped nuts and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until the halwa is thick and sticky. Serve hot garnished with more chopped nuts. Enjoy your Gajar ka Halwa!

Drain and mash the potatoes with a fork or potato masher. 7.In a separate bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, grated onion, and chopped parsley.
